BKR Driver Learned From 2012 Rookie Effort In Snowball Derby
MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Austin Theriault was thrilled just to have qualified for the race a year ago, but this weekend the Brad Keselowski Racing development driver has much higher expectations for the running of the 46th annual Snowball Derby at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Fla., on Sunday, December 8.
Theriault believes that the BKR No. 29 Checkered Flag Foundation Ford Fusion team has a much better plan in place than it did a year ago. Qualifying begins at 5:15 p.m. local time on Friday night, with the Snowball Derby going green at 2 p.m. Sunday.
“This is the biggest short track race that everybody comes to,” said Theriault, who finished 20th in last year’s Snowball Derby – his first appearance in the annual 300-lap Super Late Model race featuring NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers, touring series champions and some of the best short track racers in the United States. “It’s one of the marks on the calendar that you keep in the back of your mind 365 days of the year. Last year, we left here disappointed, but that night we had already refocused on coming back this year.

Driver Rides BKR Momentum Into All-American 400 This Weekend
FORT KENT, Maine – Austin Theriault likes where his Brad Keselowski Racing team is at as it heads into the homestretch of the 2013 season.
Fresh off a podium finish at New Smyrna (Fla.) Speedway last weekend, the BKR development driver believes that momentum could pay big dividends as he enters this weekend’s Southern Super Series All-American 400 at the history Fairgrounds Speedway in Nashville, Tenn.
“I’m really looking forward to running this race,” Theriault said. “It’s one of the biggest races in the country, one of the biggest Super Late Model races that we run all year. Having two big races coming up, it’s important to make good use of the momentum we’ve built up over the last couple of months and have some success. This would be a good time to do that.”

Brad Keselowski Racing: Austin Theriault
Battle At Berlin 251 Race Preview
THE STORY
FORT KENT, Maine – Austin Theriault of Fort Kent, Maine, is back in the seat for Brad Keselowski Racing at the Battle At Berlin 251 at Berlin Raceway in Marne, Mich., on Saturday, June 15. Theriault made his debut on the flat .438-mile oval last season in the 251-lap main event, finishing 13th in the CRA Super Series sanctioned event. The driver of the BKR No. 29 Checkered Flag Foundation Ford Fusion is looking forward to continuing his strong run this season in the BKR Fords while competing in one of the biggest races of the first half of the 2013 season. The team practiced and qualified for a 75-lap event at Berlin two weeks ago before the race itself was rained out, but Theriault has not finished outside of the Top-10 in seven consecutive Super Late Model races dating back to last season – including a sixth-place effort at Gresham Motorsports Park in the Southern Super Series Racing Radios 125 in April – and expects to turn in another strong run this weekend.
