NAPA TO SPONSOR HISTORY MAKING 25th ANNIVERSARY EVENT

The Avery family is pleased to announce that their 25th anniversary season is going to feature the biggest weekend of racing in the history of the track. White Mountain Motorsports Park located on Route 3 in North Woodstock, New Hampshire is lining up several new sponsors for 2018 including the Autosaver Group as the naming sponsor, and now have added to their already impressive lineup of sponsors, NAPA Auto Parts as the headline sponsor for the NAPA Blue & Gold Weekend scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, September 15th and 16th.

Todd Stone Takes the Checkers at White Mountain!

Woodstock, NH – Todd Stone of Middlebury, VT. took the checkers at the White Mountain 100 on Saturday night. In practice and the scuff sessions, veteran to the track, DJ Shaw of Center Conway, NH posted the fastest times. Wayne Helliwell Jr. of Dover, NH who has run well in the ACT Series posted some of the fastest times as well. 

The feature saw Helliwell Jr. on the poll, and Luke Hinkley of Claremont, NH started on the outside to start the race. The early part of the race saw Helliwell take an early lead for the first twenty laps of the race. Eventually Shaw would take the lead and hold it until lap 40 when the caution flew. Shaw and Hinkley made contact on the backstretch sending the 31NH car up the pit road in a wild ride with the car ending up on thp of the pit wall, ending his night early.

Outduels Moltz, Masterson for 3rd straight ACT win

NORTH WOODSTOCK, NH – Scott Payea of Colchester, Vt. took the lead from Dillon Moltz on a lap 72 restart and notched his third consecutive American Canadian Tour (ACT) victory in the White Mountain 150 Saturday at White Mountain Motorsports Park.

 

Moltz started on the pole, led the first 71 laps and then drew even to Payea’s outside on lap 78, but never managed to regain the top spot. With six laps remaining, Payea finally managed to give Moltz the slip. His winning margin was four car-lengths.

Griffith Finishes in the Top-10 in PASS at White Mountain Motorsports Park

(N. Woodstock, NH) – Derek Griffith, the Hudson, NH native is having a breakout 2016 season on the Pro All Stars Series (PASS), the No. 12 Hitman Industries/LCM Racing team garnered another solid finish this past weekend at White Mountain Motorsports Park (WMMP)

WMMP is a ¼-mile, high-banked oval and Griffith has won on the track before in Pro Stock racing. The young racer was hoping for a repeat last Saturday night.

Starting 12th in the field of 17 Super Late Models, Griffith got caught up in a racing incident early on and was shuffled back to the end of field on the initial restart. Griffith was able to work his back through the field and was solidly in the top-10 for the remainder of the race.

Six-time PASS Super Late Model champion Johnny Clark scores first win of the year at White Mountain Motorsports Park

North Woodstock, New Hampshire – Johnny Clark of Farmingdale, Maine led all 150 laps to earn his first Pro All Stars Series Super Late Model win of the season in Saturday night’s Foley Oil & Propane 150 at White Mountain Motorsports Park in North Woodstock, New Hampshire.

 

It was the first victory of the season for the six-time series champion, who ranks second in the current championship standings behind 2014 titlist DJ Shaw, who finished 11th.  Clark is the 11th driver to score a PASS North Super Late Model victory this year.  No driver has more than two wins after 14 of 16 events have been contested.

 

Clark, sponsored by the family-owned clarksscrapmetals.com chain, became the first competitor this season to lead every lap in a Pro All Stars Series North Super Late Model contest.  Reigning Series champion Mike Rowe of Turner, Maine made things interesting throughout the 150-lapper, successfully protecting second position until turning up the heat on Clark following the race’s final restart with ten laps to go.
