The Pro All Stars Series North season opening \u201cRipley and Fletcher Ford 150\u201d is this Sunday, April 21st.  After a few great runs to start the season in the PASS National series, including a win to open the season at Auburndale Speedway, Joey Doiron is hoping to get another win to start the year off right this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe won the season opener at Beech Ridge last year and that gave us a boost on the rest of the season,\u201d Doiron said of his strong start just a year ago, \u201clooking to Oxford we know we can do the same and get us another strong start.\u201d<br \/>\nThe last time the series was at Oxford Plains Speedway was last October for the season finale, and after making several big gains on the car, Doiron ended the night with a top ten finish with a car that he thought could have contended for a podium finish.<br \/>\n<!--more--><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/maineracing.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/driver_jd.jpg\" alt=\"driver_jd\" width=\"219\" height=\"360\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-10049\" srcset=\"https:\/\/maineracing.com\/legacy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/driver_jd.jpg 219w, https:\/\/maineracing.com\/legacy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/driver_jd-182x300.jpg 182w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 219px) 100vw, 219px\" \/><br \/>\n\u201cIt\u2019s as much track position as it is your luck on the restarts,\u201d said Doiron of the racing at Oxford, \u201clast fall our finishing position didn\u2019t reflect how well the car was, hopefully we can establish ourselves at the front early this time and stay up there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The action kicks off at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 21st and includes racing from the PASS North Super Late Models, Sportsman and Modifieds, including a national qualifier race for the Amsoil Nelcar Legends Tour to kick things off.  Tickets are only $20 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under.  Be sure to come out for what will surely be a great day of racing and support Joey Doiron and the #73 Wild Willy\u2019s Burgers\/ JBJ Machine team.
