Ken Minott, track promoter said, &#8220;Back on Mothers Day weekend we waited til the last minute to cancel.  We really thought we had a window of opportunity for the races to carry on.  This time it was an easy call because we could see there was no chance of getting it in.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Wiscasset Speedway resumes racing action next weekend with its group one rotation of divisions, including: Prostock, Super Stock, Thunder 4&#8217;s, and 4-Cylinder Prostocks.<br \/>\nAdditionally on the schedule are  two make up races from Mother&#8217;s Day Weekend: Mini Trucks and Outlaw Mini&#8217;s.<br \/>\n <!--more--><br \/>\nThe flex races of the week are Ladies races.  There will be two divisions for the ladies.  A beginner division for Thunder 4 and 4-Cylinder Enduro style cars, and an advanced division including Outlaw Mini and Strictly Street style cars.  Come on out ladies and race!<\/p>\n<p>Pit gates open at 2 p.m. Grandstand gates open at 4 p.m.  Racing begins at 6 p.m.  Admission is $5 for adults and children aged seven and older.  Kids six and under are free.  Wiscasset Speedway is located on West Alna Road in Wiscasset.
