{"id":11655,"date":"2013-08-14T21:20:14","date_gmt":"2013-08-15T01:20:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.maineracing.com\/wp\/?p=11655"},"modified":"2013-08-14T21:20:14","modified_gmt":"2013-08-15T01:20:14","slug":"ironman-harvest-200","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/maineracing.com\/legacy\/2013\/08\/ironman-harvest-200\/","title":{"rendered":"IRONMAN HARVEST 200"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-7092\" alt=\"lee\" src=\"http:\/\/www.maineracing.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/lee.gif\" width=\"150\" height=\"50\" \/>Once again inclement weather forced the cancelation of the racing program last Friday night at the Lee USA Speedway.\u00a0 This time it claimed the most prestigious event of the season; the 13<sup>th<\/sup> Annual Ollie Silva Classic for the ISMA Supermodifieds.\u00a0 Fans and competitors were extremely disappointed but continuous drenching rain made it impossible to run the event.\u00a0 Currently ISMA and the Lee USA Speedway are exploring possible alternate dates and more information will be forthcoming in the next few days.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1326949603\"><span class=\"aQJ\">This Friday<\/span><\/span> night <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1326949604\"><span class=\"aQJ\">August 16th<\/span><\/span> will be the American Used Auto Parts Ironman\u2019s week on top of the heap of the program with the Harvest 200. The entry level division will be going 25 laps for more money than any previous Ironman event so far this season.\u00a0 Travis Hollins, Evan Horvath, Hannah Shaw, and Danielle Simoneau are just some of the division\u2019s top competitors expected to start the event.\u00a0 More entries are expected for this race and even more are coming as the division prepares for the Ironman Super Series Race <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1326949605\"><span class=\"aQJ\">October 11th through 13th<\/span><\/span>.\u00a0 A $4,000 purse is in the offering with a cool $1,000 going to the winner.\u00a0 ABSOLUTELY THE BIGGEST PURSE FOR AN ENTRY LEVEL DIVISION OFFERED ANYWHERE.\u00a0 For rules and more information contact the track office at <a href=\"tel:978-462-4252\" target=\"_blank\">978-462-4252<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">The Bensons Hardware Small Block Supers will be back in action <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1326949606\"><span class=\"aQJ\">this Friday<\/span><\/span> night.\u00a0 Tommy Tombarello is on top of the division\u2019s point standings with three wins.\u00a0 Seven other drivers including Ryan Gath and Mike Murphy have also been to victory this season, the most competitive in years.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">The Prime Storage Late Model Sportsman are also going 30 laps <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1326949607\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Friday<\/span><\/span> night.\u00a0 With three wins, Grant Aither is clearly the division\u2019s top dog.\u00a0 But James Russell was the winner the last time the late model sportsman took to the track and Alby Ovitt was second.\u00a0 Despite not being able to win so far this season, Ovitt is still a close second in the standings.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Patrick Tanguay is still leading the David\u2019s Race Cars and Components Hobby Stock division standings by a mere 2 points over Jim Paiseczny, despite Piaseczny\u2019s three victories.
