\"1000-DSC_8255\"Scarborough, ME \u2013 Joey Doiron and the #73 Wild Willy\u2019s Burgers team had a disappointing run in the Southern Maine Motors 300 at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway.\u00a0 After struggling to find the handle with their car all weekend, they were collected in two incidents, but fought hard until the end of the Pro All Stars Series North marathon with a 15th place finish.<\/p>\n

Thanks to a new partnership with ARBodies, the 73 machine went from its usual black Impala body to a new white ARBodies Dodge Challenger, turning many heads with the new look.\u00a0 He started and finished third in the heat race, giving him a 12th place starting position for the 300 lap event.

\nEarly on, Doiron fought a tight handling issue with the 73 car, and had fallen to near the rear of the field.\u00a0 The day only got worse on lap 37, as Doiron was collected in a wreck in turn two.\u00a0 He was able to drive away, but Dorion had to pit many times throughout the race for the crew to fix the front end of the car, falling a lap down.\u00a0 The day continued to get worse as Doiron was collected in another wreck not of his doing lap 97, leaving him to ride out the remaining 200 laps with duct tape holding his front end together.\u00a0 Running the rest of the race two laps down, the crew continued to adjust on the 73 car throughout the races early yellows, giving Doiron a better car towards the end of the race so they could salvage their eventual 15th place finish.<\/p>\n

After point\u2019s competitor Cassius Clark finished in the 4th position, Doiron now trails Clark by just three points going into the final event in the Pro All Stars Series North season.\u00a0 In two weeks on September 28th<\/span><\/span>, the championship will be decided at Oxford Plains Speedway.\u00a0 Come to the track to support Joey Doiron in his push for the PASS North championship.\u00a0 Racing will start at 1:00PM<\/span><\/span> and tickets are only $20, with kids 12 and under $5.<\/p>\n
