Driver of the #10, Kate Re of Lovell, Maine has just finished racing the regular season at Richmond Karting Speedway. Kate took the checkered 5 times throughout the 2013 race season at RKS. \u201cThe highlight of this season was winning as many races as I have and learning to be a better driver.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the last points race of the season Kate moved up to the Box Stock Series. Starting the race mid-pack, Kate was able to make her way to the front, then with after a late caution Kate took the green flag going 3 wide to take the lead and drive on to the checkered flag in her in inaugural Box Stock feature race. \u201cI moved up to Box Stock for the rest of the season to practice for next year. I didn\u2019t expect to win but I was very excited when I did.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
So how do the Box Stocks compare to the Jr. Box Stocks that she has been racing all season. \u201cBox Stock is a lot faster and I like that. I liked Junior Box Stock because it helped me learn.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n
Though the race season maybe coming to a close, that\u2019s not stopping Ms. Re. \u201cI\u2019ll turn 10 in December. I plan to ride my snowmobile and go ice fishing this winter. I\u2019d like to try Lacrosse in the spring and of course I plan to work on my kart with my dad to get it ready for next season.\u201d<\/p>\n

With 5 wins already this season it maybe hard to choose a favorite but Kate that\u2019s an easy question. \u201cThe big race on September 8th because the trophy was the largest and my sponsor, Troy Morse Concrete, sponsored the race so I wanted to win.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n
So what is the key to Kate amazing success this season, well you could say \u201cfather knows best.\u201d \u201cI\u2019ve learned to hold and follow my line and everything that my dad has taught me about racing has helped a lot.\u201d When race season kicks off again Kate would like to start off exactly where she left off this season, in victory lane. \u201cI\u2019d like to win more races and just become a better driver.\u201d<\/p>\n
