Though there has been plenty of snow and not much racing, Michael has kept busy, \u201cThis off season I’ve been preparing myself for the season working with dad on the mini cup and helping my uncle on his.\u201d<\/p>\n

Racing in two different series one of the biggest challenges is in the way the cars handle, \u201cMini cups compared to endures, mini cups are a lot harder to drive the steering is so touchy. But there built like a late model so it’s like driving a late model.\u201d<\/p>\n

Michael is using his experience racing in mini-cups as a stepping stone to the future. \u201cIn 5 years I’d like to see myself in a late model at Wiscasset Speedway.\u201d<\/p>\n

Racing for a championship this season in Mini-Stocks at RKS, its essential to know how to get around the track. \u201cGetting around Richmond is tricky you have to be smooth and perfectly consistent.\u201d<\/p>\n

Working on the race car is a good way for the driver to understand how the car works and to become a better racer. \u201cI do work and pay for my mini cup as well as drive.\u201d<\/p>\n
