Nick Jenkins of Brownville Maine, is making the shift this season from racing late models to super late models in the Pro All Stars Series (PASS). \u201cIn 2014 I will be racing PASS North for Maine Glass Eels and Frame-Co Racing! I look forward to being a teammate to Martin Latulippe and Seth Holbrook Motorsports. This should be a very exciting season for sure!\u201d<\/p>\n

Over the winter Nick has been keeping busy working, \u201cI have been working at my business Statewide Spray Foam Insulation and preparing for the 2014 racing season.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The 2014 PASS schedule this season has 15 races at 9 different tracks throughout New England and Canada. \u00a0<\/span>\u201cI think the pass north schedule looks very good. I was really happy to see Speedway 95 added to the schedule. That being my home track I expect that race to be a strong one for our team. I am also excited to go back to Chaudi\u00e8re. I raced there last spring and really liked the place! This is also Martins home town and his cars are always fast here so I am excited to go back!\u201d<\/p>\n

So what is the one race track Nick is looking forward to racing at this season? \u00a0<\/span>\u201cIf I had to pick a favorite on the schedule it would definitely be Speedway 95. I feel very comfortable there.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n

Though two of the Maine race tracks that are not on the PASS schedule this season are Wiscasset Speedway, and Unity Raceway. \u201cWiscasset may not be on the PASS schedule but it is definitely on mine. Don’t be surprised to see us enter the Coastal 200 with our Maine Glass Eels sponsored late model. My sponsor Maine Glass Eels, have a lot of friends and family there and we look forward to racing there some this season.\u201d<\/p>\n

What is the key to getting around Speedway 95? \u201cI am not sure what the key is, you just have to be very smooth and not overdrive the track or you might find yourself on I-95 south.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n

Nick is looking forward to racing at Chaudi\u00e8re, Quebec 3 times this season with PASS. \u201cOne of the most memorable times I had this summer was our trip to Chaudi\u00e8re with a 2 man pit crew. We had a flat tire and still managed a top 10 finish!\u201d<\/p>\n

This race season Nick is teamed up with Martin Latulippe #84 QC. \u201cMartin and I have been talking about a two car team since late last fall but it wasn’t until Maine Glass Eels came on board that it became a possibility. Martin has top notch equipment and every week when I strap on I know I will have a very good piece. I also think Seth will be a big addition to the team also. Martin, Chris (Maine Glass Eels) and I are all very excited about this team and we look to be very competitive on 2014.\u201d<\/p>\n
