\"Doiron_photo1\"Berwick, ME \u2013 Headed into his second start of the season, Joey Doiron and the #73 Wild Willy\u2019s Burgers\/JBJ Machine team are hoping to improve from their last trip to historic Hickory Motor Speedway.\u00a0 This weekend\u2019s annual \u201cEaster Bunny 150\u201d is one of the most prestigious races in all of short track racing and certainly on the Pro All Stars Series South schedule, and Doiron wants to be added to its superior list of winners.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe guys that have won this race are some of the best we race against and every driver would like to be added to that list,\u201d Doiron said of the race this weekend, \u201cWe\u2019ve been preparing our car for this race all winter and I think we can make a huge improvement over our result there last year.\u201d

\nDoiron had a rough first trip to the track last season. He was forced to fight his way into the field through the last chance race and started near the rear of the field in the 150 lap event. He was unfortunately caught up in an early wreck which resulted in a 23rd place finish.\u00a0 After having his best overall season last year though, there\u2019s no reason the team can\u2019t compete for the win this weekend.<\/p>\n

Doiron and his team will be hitting the track this weekend at Hickory Motor Speedway for the first time on Friday<\/span><\/span> for rotating practice all day.\u00a0 The racing action will kick off on Saturday<\/span><\/span> with qualifying at 3:00PM<\/span><\/span> and the racing at 6:00PM<\/span><\/span>.\u00a0 If you\u2019re in the area, you won\u2019t want to miss one of the most prestigious and thrilling races of the season and cheer on Joey Doiron and the #73 Wild Willy\u2019s Burgers\/JBJ Machine team!<\/p>\n
