Winchester, NH. \u2013 Derek Griffith, the talented 17 year-old is looking for another podium finish at Monadnock Speedway this coming Saturday, May 21, 2014.<\/span><\/div>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
Griffith opened eyes in 2012 by grabbing a second-place finish in the season opening event held at the \u00bc mile high-banked oval, located in Winchester, NH. Derek calls Monadnock Speedway one of his favorite tracks that the Granite State Pro Stock Series visits, \u201cI really like the layout here and with our set-up we use hear, we are able to really contend for victories, I would expect no different this time around\u201d, said Derek.<\/span><\/div>\n

The No. 12 MOM\u2019s of Manchester\/LCM Racing\/Tyngsboro Motors Toyota Camry will be ready to compete, coming off a season opening 8th<\/sup> place finish at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park, the team also took their super late model and competed in their first-ever start for the Pro All Star Series at Star Speedway back on May 10th<\/sup>. Derek finished a respectable 16th<\/sup> in his debut with the series.<\/span><\/div>\n

Derek remarked, \u201cWe were happy with the way our Granite State car competed with the PASS super late models. We also have a brand new SLM, which we will take and attempt to qualify for the Oxford 250 this coming July. However our focus right now is at Monadnock, we really expect a podium finish.\u201d<\/span><\/div>\n
