line-height: 106%;\">Last Saturday at the Wiscasset Speedway was warm and sunny, with fans packing the bleachers to watch the group one division of racing.\u00a0 The evening air cooled just as the big lights of Wiscasset lit the track.\u00a0 Group one racing included: Prostock, New England Four Cylinder Prostock, Outlaw Mini, and Napa Super Street.\u00a0 The flex race of the week was a flagpole race, and there were spectator drags during intermission.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv9149279046MsoNormal\">\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1402886360135_4480\" class=\"yiv9149279046MsoNormal\"><span id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1402886360135_4479\" style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 106%;\">Starting off the evening\u2019s action was a forty lap Prostock race.\u00a0 Starting on the pole was the #15 of Nick Hinkley.\u00a0 Behind him were the #39 of James Osmond and the #77 Of Maggie Ferland.\u00a0 During the opening lap, the #64 of Matty Sandborn passed Ferland on the outside of turn one, taking third.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv9149279046MsoNormal\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1402886360135_4486\" class=\"yiv9149279046MsoNormal\"><span id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1402886360135_4485\" style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 106%;\">Bill Penfold of the #07 headed to the outside and passed Sandborn on turn one during lap one.\u00a0 Penfold kept his eyes ahead and moved up the track looking to pass Osmond.\u00a0 Osmond and Penfold raced furiously for second.\u00a0 Osmond held Penfold off until lap twenty-three.\u00a0 Penfold completed the pass on the inside of the backstretch taking second.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv9149279046MsoNormal\">\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1402886360135_4482\" class=\"yiv9149279046MsoNormal\"><span id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1402886360135_4481\" style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 106%;\">The #9 of Dylan Turner passed Osmond on turn three during lap twenty-six, taking third.\u00a0 Turner then passed Penfold on the inside of turn three during lap twenty-seven, moving to second place.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv9149279046MsoNormal\">\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1402886360135_4484\" class=\"yiv9149279046MsoNormal\"><span id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1402886360135_4483\" style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 106%;\">There was a caution during lap twenty-eight when Penfold spun on the track.\u00a0 Osmond moved back into third place when Penfold went to the back.\u00a0 When racing action resumed, Turner got a good start and passed Hinkley for first along the outside.\u00a0 Hinkley stuck to the inside line and was able to pass Turner on the backstretch, once again claiming fist.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1402886360135_4518\" class=\"yiv9149279046MsoNormal\"><span id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1402886360135_4517\" style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 106%;\">During lap thirty five, Turner once again moved to the outside to pass Hinkley.\u00a0 His car slowed and Osmond moved into second and the #01 of Joe Decker moved to third.\u00a0 Turner recovered and moved up the track.\u00a0 During lap thirty-six Turner passed Decker for third.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1402886360135_4520\" class=\"yiv9149279046MsoNormal\"><span id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1402886360135_4519\" style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 106%;\">There was a caution during lap thirty-seven when Decker and Penfold made contact on the track.\u00a0 Decker spun landing in the infield, and Penfold went off the track on the corner of turn three.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv9149279046MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 106%;\">With only two laps remaining, Turner passed Osmond for second on turn one.\u00a0 Turner attempted to take first, but was not able to complete the pass before the checkered.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv9149279046MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 106%;\">Hinkley took the win. Turner placed second.\u00a0 Osmond rounded out the top three in third place.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv9149279046MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 106%;\">\u201cWe have really struggled with the Prostock car since my first win,\u201d said Hinkley. \u201cMay was full of problems.\u00a0 We had problems with the clutch, then the car was running badly and just not dialed in.\u00a0 Last Prostock race we broke a transmission during the heat race, then lost a second transmission during the feature.\u00a0 This weekend was the first weekend we were where we wanted to be.\u00a0 The car was dialed in.\u00a0 Of course, next race will be a different story because we will be starting from the back.\u00a0 I want to thank my crew: Frank, Willie, Colton, Jason, Thomas, and Joey.\u00a0 I would also like to thank my sponsors, including Ideal Portable Toilets, Greg\u2019s Used Cars, and Home Seafood Market.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1402886360135_4522\" class=\"yiv9149279046MsoNormal\"><span id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1402886360135_4521\" style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 106%;\">A quick, straightforward New England Four Cylinder Prostock feature was next.\u00a0 Twelve cars lined up for a twenty-five lap feature.\u00a0 Starting on the pole was the #8 of Craig Dunn.\u00a0 The #38 of Ryan Hayes and the #7 of Chuck Harris were behind him.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1402886360135_4524\" class=\"yiv9149279046MsoNormal\"><span id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1402886360135_4523\" style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 106%;\">Harris passed Hayes during the opening lap on the inside of turn one for second.\u00a0 Then, during lap three, Harris passed Dunn for the lead.\u00a0 Despite one caution during lap twenty-one, race leaders remained constant until race conclusion.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv9149279046MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 106%;\">Harris placed first.\u00a0 In second was Dunn.\u00a0 Hayes took third place.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1402886360135_4526\" class=\"yiv9149279046MsoNormal\"><span id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1402886360135_4525\" style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 106%;\">An action packed twenty-five lap Napa Super Street feature was next.\u00a0 Starting on the pole was the #1 of Adam Chadbourne.\u00a0 Behind him were the #8 of Kevin Morse and the #88 of Jamie Norton.\u00a0 The #38 of Chris Buzzell passed Norton on the outside during the opening lap, taking third.\u00a0 Then, Buzzell moved up the track and passed Morse on the inside of the backstretch for second during the same lap.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1402886360135_4528\" class=\"yiv9149279046MsoNormal\"><span id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1402886360135_4527\" style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 106%;\">The #48 of Dan Nessmith passed Morse for third on the inside of turn one during lap two.\u00a0 Then the #2 of Josh Bailey passed Nessmith on the inside of turn two during lap two, taking third.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv9149279046MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 106%;\">There was a caution during lap three when Nessmith spun on the track, and Buzzell and Bailey made contact while passing. Bailey spun round sideways on the track on the #04 driven by Zack Bowie T-boned Bailey on the backstretch.\u00a0 All drivers walked safely away.\u00a0 When racing action continued, Chadbourne was in first.\u00a0 Buzzell was in second.\u00a0 Moving up to third was the #61 of Shawn Austin.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv9149279046MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 106%;\">During lap six Buzzell spun on the track.\u00a0 Austin moved to second and the #05 of James Osmond moved to third.\u00a0 On the ensuing restart, Austin and Osmond battled for second until lap eighteen, when a caution was called when the #6 of Travis Dunbar caught fire.\u00a0 Dunbar walked safely away.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv9149279046MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 106%;\">The cars lined up for the restart, and when green flag racing began, Osmond passed Austin off the start for second.\u00a0 Austin and Osmond once again fought for second position. Then, during lap twenty, Austin had a chance to pass.\u00a0 Austin headed to the inside of turn three and passed Osmond for second.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv9149279046MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 106%;\">Chadbourne claimed the win, making this his third first place win in Napa Super Streets this season.\u00a0 Austin placed in second.\u00a0 Finishing in third place was Osmond.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1402886360135_4530\" class=\"yiv9149279046MsoNormal\"><span id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1402886360135_4529\" style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 106%;\">Coming into Saturday\u2019s race, Osmond was point leader with 222 points.\u00a0 Osmond was second in points with 218.\u00a0 Dan Nessmith was in third place with 172 points.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1402886360135_4532\" class=\"yiv9149279046MsoNormal\"><span id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1402886360135_4531\" style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 106%;\">Chadbourne said, \u201cWe have had problems with this car this season.\u00a0 For the past two weeks, myself, my crew, and family members have constantly worked on this car, putting in about 60-70 hours.\u00a0 It was worth it because everything came together for us tonight and we had good luck.\u00a0 It was also good to see the Napa Super Street class is getting built up.\u00a0 Tonight was the biggest field we have seen this season.\u00a0 I need to thank my girlfriend because she hasn\u2019t seen much of me at all.\u00a0 I also want to thank Dave Brannon for the motor, my crew, and all of my sponsors including Mike\u2019s Sidework and Stone Surface Cabinets and Countertops.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv9149279046MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 106%;\">Next on the track was a twenty-five lap Outlaw Mini race.\u00a0 Starting on the pole was the #13 of Nate Tribbet.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Behind him were the #8 of Calvin Rose Jr and the #13X of Chris Blanchard.\u00a0 There were two cautions in the race before one lap was completed.\u00a0 There was a jumble on the track off the start, and cars were going three wide into turn one.\u00a0 Blanchard, the #06 of Ryan Glover, and the #9 of George Fortin all made contact.\u00a0 Glover went into the wall and rolled over, Fortin went to the middle of the track.\u00a0 Glover and Fortin were towed off the track and Blanchard went to pit row.\u00a0\u00a0 All drivers walked safely away.\u00a0 The second caution came when Blanchard, who had come back onto the track, spun in front of the pit row exit.\u00a0 When racing action continued on the track, Tribbet was in first.\u00a0 Rose was in second.\u00a0 The #20 of Shawn Kimball moved to third.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv9149279046MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 106%;\">Rose and Kimball raced neck and neck, each looking for second place.\u00a0 Kimball passed Rose on the inside of the backstretch during lap five for second.\u00a0 The #10 of Jimmy Childs passed Rose on the inside of turn two during lap six for third.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1402886360135_4534\" class=\"yiv9149279046MsoNormal\"><span id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1402886360135_4533\" style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 106%;\">Childs looked for his opportunity to pass Kimball.\u00a0 His chance came during lap twelve, and he passed Kimball on the outside of turn one for second.\u00a0 Kimball slows, and smoke begins to roll from the car, so he heads to pit row with mechanical problems.\u00a0 Rose moved to third.\u00a0 Race leaders remain constant until the finish.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1402886360135_4536\" class=\"yiv9149279046MsoNormal\"><span id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1402886360135_4535\" style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 106%;\">Nate Tribbet drove his K&amp;G Auto Sales Honda Prelude under the checkered in first.\u00a0 This was Tribbets first top place finish of the season, and his third top five finish of the season.\u00a0 Coming into the race, Tribbet was third in points, with 174 points.\u00a0 Kimball and Childs were tied for first in points, each with 198.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1402886360135_4538\" class=\"yiv9149279046MsoNormal\"><span id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1402886360135_4537\" style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 106%;\">Placing second was Childs.\u00a0 Rose took third place.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1402886360135_4540\" class=\"yiv9149279046MsoNormal\"><span id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1402886360135_4539\" style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 106%;\">Post-race, Tribbet said, \u201cI would like to thank my grandfather and my uncle for working on my car and getting it into the winner\u2019s circle.\u00a0 The car was running good.\u00a0 It was good to see some luck go our way finally.\u00a0 I would like to thank my sponsors, including Maine Street Fuel.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1402886360135_4542\" class=\"yiv9149279046MsoNormal\"><span id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1402886360135_4541\" style=\"font-size: 12.0pt;
