{"id":14047,"date":"2014-09-28T22:00:30","date_gmt":"2014-09-29T02:00:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.maineracing.com\/wp\/?p=14047"},"modified":"2014-09-28T22:00:30","modified_gmt":"2014-09-29T02:00:30","slug":"dj-shaw-finishes-second-oxford-plains-secure-2014-pass-north-championship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/maineracing.com\/legacy\/2014\/09\/dj-shaw-finishes-second-oxford-plains-secure-2014-pass-north-championship\/","title":{"rendered":"DJ Shaw Finishes Second at Oxford Plains to Secure 2014 PASS North Championship"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"attachment_14048\" style=\"width: 410px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-14048\" class=\"size-full wp-image-14048\" src=\"http:\/\/www.maineracing.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/600-NLM_2016-e1411955936302.jpg\" alt=\"Photos by Norm Marx\" width=\"400\" height=\"149\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-14048\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photos by Norm Marx<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Oxford, ME \u2013 DJ Shaw and the Precision JLM Racing team fought through a long Pro All Stars Series North season, and had to overcome plenty of adversity and the grueling demands of racing against some of the best drivers in the Northeast.\u00a0 After their runner up finish in the \u201cRipley &amp; Fletcher Ford 150,\u201d their hard work was rewarded as they were crowned as PASS North Champions.\u00a0 While going into the race with a points cushion over six time PASS North Champion Johnny Clark, Shaw knew anything could happen and was going to run as hard as he could to secure the title.<br \/>\n\u201cIt\u2019s been an incredible season, and to see our cars go 1-2-3 in the season finale makes it even better,\u201d Shaw said from Victory Lane, \u201cToday was just a fantastic day. I thought that last caution was going to hurt us, but we fought hard and got the finish we needed. Johnny (Clark) had a strong season, as well, and I congratulate him and his team for that. Today was our day, and now it\u2019s time to celebrate.
