My cousin Justin and friend Dan really worked hard on the car to get it where I could compete.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>So what has Michael been doing while waiting for the green flag, \u201cI&#8217;ve been doing a lot of plowing and snowmobiling this off season.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Well the race tracks here in Maine have been averaging at least 1 snow storm a week for the past 2 months, so will the snow be gone before opening day on April 26th, at Richmond Karting Speedway. \u201cI honestly do not think the snow will be gone although I really hope it is.\u201d<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The 1st race of the season is just 2 months away, as the race teams start gearing up and working on the race cars. \u201cI am not ready for the race season. The car is almost ready for paint but needs some work done on the chassis as well, me and my dad have worked hours on the car this winter.<br \/>\nSponsors are an important part of racing, sponsoring the races, the cars and the tracks. \u201cSo far I do not have any sponsors, which is a problem.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>So what is the key to getting around Richmond and getting the checkered flag? \u201cThe key to getting around Richmond is patience. I have that problem a lot I don\u2019t have enough patience. Another key is finding a setup that works for you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Racing is always improving so what would it take to make the racing more exciting at RKS? \u201cTo make the racing more exciting I\u2019d like to see each class have at least one extended lap race.
