Barre, VT \u2013 <\/span><\/em>Graniteville\u2019s John Donahue earned his first feature win of the 2010 Thunder Road Late Model season during Thursday\u2019s (July 8) Charter Communications night. Donahue rebounded from finishing dead last while being involved in a wreck just four days ago on Sunday\u2019s July 4th<\/sup> event. <\/span><\/p>\n

Donahue started the feature in the 8th<\/sup> position and worked his way to second before the feature\u2019s only caution flag flew on lap 18. On the restart Donahue took the lead from outside pole sitter Eric Chase and was not contested for the remainder of the 50 lap event.
\n

\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Tracie Bellerose just edged out Brooks Clark at the line for the second position. Senator Phil Scott took fourth with point leader Dave Pembroke taking fifth. Chase dropped back to sixth, rookie Cody Blake earned a career high seventh, while Joey Becker, Cris Michaud, and Nick Sweet completed the top ten.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Bond Auto Tiger Sportsmen feature also was completed with just one caution. Bradford\u2019s Derrick O\u2019Donnell earned his second career feature win and second win of the season. He was chased to the line by George May and Joe Steffen completing the podium. Eric Badore and David Finck rounded out the top five. 2009 Bond Auto Tiger Champ Jimmy Hebert earned sixth, Mike Ziter seventh, point leader Tony Rossi eighth, Shawn Fleury ninth and Tom Therrien tenth.<\/span><\/p>\n

Randolph\u2019s Eric Johnson picked up his ninth career feature win and second of the season in the Allen Lumber Street Stocks feature. He held off Tommy \u201cThunder\u201d Smith who came in second and Paul Giacherio in third. Daniel Lathrop and Dave Whitcomb completed the top five while Jean Leblanc, Bunker Hodgdon, Gary Mullen, Will Hennequin and Amanda Habel completed the top ten.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cabot\u2019s Ken Christman was the highest finishing Junkyard Warrior and earned his sixth win of the season. Brock Parrott took second followed by Kevin Dodge, Josh Erwin and Kevin Wheatley. <\/span><\/p>\n

All four divisions will be back at Thunder Road next Thursday, July 15 for the Times Argus Mid-Season Championships featuring double points night. Post time is 6:30pm. <\/span><\/p>\n
