The defending champion and current point  leader was closely pursued by Brent Dragon for the first half of the race and  Brad Leighton of Center Harbor, NH over the final 50 laps.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;\" \/><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\" \/> Leighton got the jump on Hoar on a restart with 22 laps remaining and  led nearly all the way around the Plattsburgh half mile before Hoar got a  nose underneath at the line. The pair swapped the lead again navigating turns  one and two before Hoar took the lead back for keeps.<br \/>\n<br \/><!--more--><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"> John Donahue of Graniteville started eighth and finished third. Brent  Dragon and Joey Polewarczyk completed the top five.\u00a0 Mark Lamberton of Mooers Forks was sixth.
