This season, Hayes is no longer a rookie, and the team has expanded to a two-car operation with driver Ricky Carmichael. Both have their eye on success, and are optimistic for a strong start at the historic Greenville-Pickens Speedway this Saturday night.

“I’m really excited about the year,” said Hayes, driver of the #52 Hendrick Honda Chevrolet Monte Carlo. “It will be a big race for us. With only 13 races in a season, every race has to be. We tested at Greenville and we were really happy with the results, so I’m looking forward to getting started.
