Waterbury, VT<\/em> \u2013 American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and Seekonk Speedway officials have announced an agreement with Propane Plus to sponsor the ACT Late Model Tour event at Seekonk on Saturday, July 16<\/span><\/span>. The Propane Plus 150 will mark ACT\u2019s return to the \u00bc-mile speedway for the first time since 2007.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The event is also the second leg of the ACT Southern New England Tripleheader. The three-race series begins at Connecticut\u2019s New London-Waterford Speedbowl on Saturday, May 21<\/span><\/span>, before traveling to Massachusett\u2019s Seekonk Speedway for the Propane Plus 150. The Tripleheader concludes at Thompson Speedway on Saturday, October 15<\/span><\/span> as part of the World Series of Speedway Racing.<\/p>\n

We look forward to the Propane Plus 150 ACT race becoming an annual \u2018must see\u2019 event at Seekonk and the other tracks involved in the ACT Southern New England Tripleheader.”<\/p>\n

Propane Plus is a leading regional full-service provider of propane and HVAC services, with locations in Rehoboth, MA and East Greenwich, RI. The company also sponsors several weekly programs and initiatives at the speedway, including the Propane Plus Driver Autograph Session and the digital edition of the Seekonk Scene racing magazine.<\/p>\n

The Propane Plus 150 will be the eighth event on the 13-race 2016 ACT Late Model Tour schedule. The 25th<\/sup> season of ACT Late Model racing opens Sunday, April 10<\/span><\/span> with the New Hampshire Governor\u2019s Cup 150 at Lee USA Speedway.<\/p>\n
