class=\"wp-caption-text\">PASS photo<\/p><\/div>\n<p><strong>CHARLOTTE, NC (June 28) \u2013 The Tour-type Modifieds of the Southern Modified Racing Series (SMRS) Presented By PASS will be back on track for a special <span data-term=\"goog_982873777\">Saturday<\/span> night show at Wake County Speedway this weekend.\u00a0 The Battle At The Bullring will see many of the same racers who turned the famed Bowman Gray Stadium into the \u201cMadhouse\u201d compete for 125 laps on the Wake County \u201cBullring.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>And, while many might be familiar with the tight, quarter-mile confines of Bowman Gray Stadium, Wake County is an unknown for most of the SMRS field.\u00a0 Bowman Gray is flat, Wake County Speedway is banked, which should make for some outstanding action for the Southern Modified contingent.\u00a0 And, measuring at .23 mile in length, Wake County is actually smaller than Bowman Gray.\u00a0 Winston-Salem, NC\u2019s Zach Brewer recently tested at Bowman Gray for the Battle At The Bullring and is excited to get back on track this weekend.\u00a0 This will be Brewer\u2019s first time in action since losing an engine in the season opener at Hickory Motor Speedway in March.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cI think we should be able to carry a lot of the data we gathered at Bowman Gray and carry it over to Wake County,\u201d says Brewer, who will be debuting new sponsor Flex Plus Financial this weekend.\u00a0 \u201cThey are close on the gear, but Wake County has a little more banking from what I\u2019ve heard.\u00a0 I\u2019m just glad to be back behind the wheel.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Walnut Cove, NC\u2019s Burt Myers is one of the top names in southeast Tour-type Modified racing and has seen great success throughout the region.\u00a0 After a strong start to the 2016 season, the multi-time Bowman Gray Stadium champion is enthusiastic about his chances for his first SMRS win <span data-term=\"goog_982873779\">on Saturday<\/span> night at Wake County.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cI\u2019m excited about racing at Wake County because I\u2019ve never been there,\u201d says Myers, driver of the Citrusafe BBQ Grill Cleaners #1.\u00a0 \u201cThey say it\u2019s a banked quarter-mile so that should be cool.\u00a0 We\u2019ll race at Caraway <span data-term=\"goog_982873780\">Friday<\/span> night, make a change of cars in the middle of the night, and then head over to Wake County.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>In addition to Brewer, and Burt and Jason Myers, the entry list continues to grow by the day for the Battle At The Bullring.\u00a0 Former PASS Super Late Model winner at Wake County, Brandon Ward, has entered as well as SMRS points leader John Smith.\u00a0 Plus a strong group of Southern Modified drivers are expected including Mike Norman, Jimmy Wallace, Jason Tutterow, and more.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In addition to the SMRS Tour Modifieds, former Bowman Gray Stadium champion, Mack Little, will lead the Mid-Atlantic Limited Late Models to Wake County Speedway for the first time, plus action for the Legends cars.<\/p>\n<p>The Southern Modified Racing Series Presented By PASS will hit the track <span data-term=\"goog_982873781\">this Saturday<\/span> night at Wake County Speedway, with practice starting at <span data-term=\"goog_982873782\">4:30 PM<\/span>, grandstands will open at <span data-term=\"goog_982873783\">6 PM<\/span>, qualifying at <span data-term=\"goog_982873784\">7 PM<\/span>, the on track Pit Party at <span data-term=\"goog_982873785\">7:45 PM<\/span>, and racing starting at <span data-term=\"goog_982873786\">8:30 PM<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>License forms, rules, and entry forms for Wake County
