{"id":1647,"date":"2010-06-25T23:59:04","date_gmt":"2010-06-25T23:59:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/maineracer.com\/wp\/?p=1647"},"modified":"2010-06-25T23:59:04","modified_gmt":"2010-06-25T23:59:04","slug":"ryan-truex-wins-new-england-125","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/maineracing.com\/legacy\/2010\/06\/ryan-truex-wins-new-england-125\/","title":{"rendered":"Ryan Truex Wins New England 125"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span id=\"postmessage_143135\">Ryan  Truex grabbed his first win of 2010 with a dominating performance at the  New England 125, on the same day he formally announced his NASCAR  Nationwide Series debut. <\/p>\n<p> Driving the No. 00 NAPA Auto Parts Toyota for Michael Waltrip Racing,  Truex started sixth but spent much of the race leading the field. <\/p>\n<p> &#8220;We had the best race car and the best team,&#8221; said Ryan Truex. &#8220;This  feels like the Daytona 500 for me. It&#8217;s the biggest race of the year for  us and it&#8217;s really special.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p> The 18 year old Mayetta, NJ native is clearly on the fast track to a  successful career. He is the defending NASCAR K&amp;N Pro Series East  Champion; the youngest driver to capture the title. <\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p> With the win today, Ryan joined his father, Martin Sr., and brother,  Martin Jr., on the NHMS K&amp;N Pro Series East wins list. <\/p>\n<p> Kevin Swindell took home a second place finish behind the wheel of the  No. 9 Curb Records\/NOS Energy Drink Chevrolet. <\/p>\n<p> The third place finisher was Revolution Racing&#8217;s Darrell Wallace, Jr.,  driving the No. 6 Revolution Racing Chevrolet. <\/p>\n<p> Tickets are still available for both &#8220;D-Day,&#8221; featuring Danica Patrick  in the NASCAR Nationwide Series New England 200, the ground-pounding New  England 100, and Sunday&#8217;s LENOX Industrial Tools 301.
