{"id":16677,"date":"2016-10-08T11:25:31","date_gmt":"2016-10-08T15:25:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/maineracing.com\/16\/?p=16677"},"modified":"2016-10-08T11:25:31","modified_gmt":"2016-10-08T15:25:31","slug":"joey-polewarczyk-nails-third-pass-north-victory-make-wish-150-star-speedway","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/maineracing.com\/legacy\/2016\/10\/joey-polewarczyk-nails-third-pass-north-victory-make-wish-150-star-speedway\/","title":{"rendered":"Joey Polewarczyk nails down third PASS North victory in Make A Wish 150 at Star Speedway"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-15675\" src=\"http:\/\/maineracing.com\/16\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/PASS-300x126.jpg\" alt=\"PASS\" width=\"300\" height=\"126\" srcset=\"https:\/\/maineracing.com\/legacy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/PASS-300x126.jpg 300w, https:\/\/maineracing.com\/legacy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/PASS-768x321.jpg 768w, https:\/\/maineracing.com\/legacy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/PASS-1024x428.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/maineracing.com\/legacy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/PASS-1080x452.jpg 1080w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Epping, New Hampshire \u2013 Joey Polewarczyk, Jr. of Hudson, New Hampshire earned his third Pro All Stars Series North Super Late Model victory of the season <span data-term=\"goog_497870681\">Friday<\/span> night in the twice-postponed Make A Wish 150 at Star Speedway in Epping, New Hampshire.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Probably better known near and far as \u2018Joey Pole Junior,\u2019 Polewarczyk started the race in 13<sup>th<\/sup> position, methodically working his way through the field to take the lead away from Joey Doiron of Berwick, Maine in the JBJ Machine 73.\u00a0 Doiron had led most of the 150-lap race after taking the lead away from early leader Todd Stone of Middlebury, Vermont at the event\u2019s quarter pole.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A late-race restart erased a healthy lead held by Doiron, then Polewarczyk took command.\u00a0 In the closing laps Travis Benjamin of Morrill, Maine made a late charge that came up just about a car-length short aboard the 99 Restaurants car.\u00a0 Doiron crossed the line in third position.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Four-time PASS North Super Late Model champion Ben Rowe of Turner, Maine was the fourth-place finisher after starting 14<sup>th<\/sup> on the grid.\u00a0 Tracy Gordon of Strong, Maine raced with the contenders throughout the 150-lapper and claimed the last top-five slot in the rundown.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>2014 PASS North Champion DJ Shaw of Center Conway, New Hampshire drove his Precision JLM 60 to a sixth-place finish, padding his lead in the championship standings headed into the series finale coming up <span data-term=\"goog_497870682\">Saturday<\/span> afternoon (<span data-term=\"goog_497870683\">October 16<\/span>) at Maine\u2019s Oxford Plains Speedway.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Reigning Series champion Mike Rowe of Turner, Maine was the seventh-place finisher, with fellow Turner resident Glen Luce eighth.\u00a0 Dave Farrington, Jr. of Jay, Maine and Curtis Gerry of Waterboro, Maine rounded out the top ten.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Heat race victories were earned by Stone, in the G.
