{"id":17183,"date":"2017-05-19T21:28:47","date_gmt":"2017-05-20T01:28:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.maineracing.com\/wp\/?p=17183"},"modified":"2017-05-19T21:28:47","modified_gmt":"2017-05-20T01:28:47","slug":"teddy-hodgdon-racing-moat-mountain","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/maineracing.com\/legacy\/2017\/05\/teddy-hodgdon-racing-moat-mountain\/","title":{"rendered":"Teddy Hodgdon Racing Up MOAT Mountain"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"attachment_17184\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-17184\" class=\"size-full wp-image-17184\" src=\"http:\/\/www.maineracing.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/360_2113-e1495243635285.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-17184\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">photo by RPM 360<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Story by Chris Roy<\/p>\n<p>Teddy Hodgdon of Danbury, CT is driving the #28 legend car, in the MOAT Mnt Series at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.\u00a0 The MOAT Mnt Legends are back at NHMS for another double header \u00a0weekend at NHMS.\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cWe might have to make some slight adjustments during the weekend, but with the baseline from our shop we should be quick right out of the gate.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In the last road course race here at NHMS, Teddy was able to get a top 3 finish and take a spot on the podium in victory lane. \u201cWe got lucky at the start of the race and after the restart I was able to settle into 3rd.\u00a0 I was able to hold on to that position for the rest of the race.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The road course at NHMS is very unique and challenging for the drivers, with its hills, valleys, long straightaways, and hair pin turns. \u201cI really like the mountain section off the main oval the best.\u00a0 It is something different with the elevation changes, the banking in the bowl and the light feeling the car gets on top of the hill.
