font-size: x-small;\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">By Dan Walker<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\" \/><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\"><strong>Scarborough,Maine-<\/strong>Charlie Colby scored his second  NASCAR Pro Series 40 lap feature race win on Saturday night at Beech Ridge Motor  Speedway.<span> <\/span>Don Colpritt, Randy Snow  and Matt Dow were also feature winners.<span> <\/span>Colby jumped into the lead at the  drop of the green flag and appeared to be headed for an easy win.<span> <\/span>Scott Moore thought otherwise and moved  inside of the leader on lap 20 as Colby hung tough to his outside.<span> <\/span>Moore led laps 20 thru 23 and Then  Colby went back in front of the field.<span> <\/span>Bill Rodgers arrived on the scene to challenge Colby over the final laps  but Colby would take the win by a car length over Rodgers as the checkered flag  waved.<span> <\/span>Moore was third with David  Oliver and Bill Whorff Jr fourth and fifth.<br \/>\n<br \/><!--more--><br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\"> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">Don Colpritt kept his championship title hopes alive by  winning the 35 lap Sport Series feature race.<span> <\/span>The race was marred by 6 caution flags  with Don Morse and Brandon Ingalls sharing the early race lead.<span> <\/span>Ingalls went back in front at lap 20 and  held on until Colpritt dusted him on a restart to take the top position.<span> <\/span>Chris Smith would move to second place  and have 2 shots at Colpritt for the lead on restarts but Colpritt was too  strong and took the win with Smith second.<span> <\/span>Corey Bubar was third, Dalton Gagnon fourth and Reggie Leeman  fifth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\"> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">Randy Snow won for the second time this season in the 30  lap Wildcat main event.<span> <\/span>Buddy  Minott led until lap 8 when Snow and Paul Lund both went past him.<span> <\/span>As the race reached the mid point and  stayed green, seven cars had moved into contention for the win as three rows of  side by side racing was taking place with Snow,<span> <\/span>Lund,<span> <\/span>David Vaughn,<span> <\/span>Dan Wink,<span> <\/span>Matt Gain,<span> <\/span>Glen Reynolds and Brian Caswell was  watching from seventh.<span> <\/span>On the final  lap, these seven cars staged a war for position resulting in some bumping and  banging entering the final turn with the checkered flag in sight.<span> <\/span>After the dust had settled Snow had won  with Lund second and the scramble for the finish line was on.<span> <\/span>Dan Wink got third,<span> <\/span>Matt Gain fourth and Lewis Anderson who  was ninth on the start of final lap got fifth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\"> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">Matt Dow blistered the field and nearly has put a  stranglehold on the Road Runner championship for this season.<span> <\/span>Natasha Dyer led the start of the race  and opened up a comfortable lead.<span> <\/span>By lap 5 Dow was already up to fifth and just picking cars off at will  until he took second place on lap 9.<span> <\/span>It only took Dow 3 laps to run down Dyar and take the lead and drive off  for the win.<span> <\/span>Dyer was second with  Don Dinsmore third.<span> <\/span>Ryan Phillips  and Ed Connolly were fourth and fifth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\"> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Dan Walker \u00a0 Scarborough,Maine-Charlie Colby scored his second NASCAR Pro Series 40 lap feature race win on Saturday night at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway.
