(file photo)<\/p><\/div>\n<p><em>Barre, Vt.<\/em>\u00a0\u2013 Thunder Road officials and Burnett Scrap Metals, LLC announced today that they have reached an agreement for the company to become the title sponsor of the Road Warrior division. The Burnett Scrap Metals Road Warriors will make their season debut on\u00a0<span data-term=\"goog_1390426178\">Thursday, July 20<\/span>\u00a0as part of Fairpoint Communications Night.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>New team registrations are arriving on a regular basis for the entry-level division, which will be for four-cylinder front wheel drive stock cars. The revived division previously competed at Thunder Road from 2003 to 2011 under the \u201cJunkyard Warriors\u201d name.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cBurnett Scrap Metals is very excited to be part of the return of the Warriors to Thunder Road,\u201d Christopher Burnett said. \u201cThe first car we sponsored at Thunder Road was a Warrior.\u00a0 This division is a great place for people to get started in racing with very little money or time invested.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Burnett Scrap Metals is a state-licensed metal recycling facility in Hinesburg, Vt. that purchases all of unwanted ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal.
