Laval, QC \u2013 December, 1st 2017 \u2013 S\u00e9rie ACT, the Canadian touring series operating under the American-Canadian Tour (ACT) flagship, is pleased to announce the 2018 schedule for ACT Late Model Sportsman, which will consist of nine (9) events at three different tracks in the Province of Quebec.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Serie ACT will kick off its 14th<\/sup>\u00a0Championship stock car season, on\u00a0Sunday, May 20<\/span><\/span>, by making its first of four visits at Autodrome St-Eustache (ASE).\u00a0 A 4\/10th<\/sup>\u00a0mile oval track, located just North of Montreal. It will return to the speed plant on July 7th<\/sup>, August 18th<\/sup>\u00a0and September 23rd<\/sup>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Autodrome Montmagny, located in the scenic city of Montmagny, which is 45 minutes East of the Quebec city bridges, will host 4 Championship races as well.\u00a0 The 3\/8 mile oval will host events on June 9th<\/sup>\u00a0and 24th<\/sup>, July 21st<\/sup>, and September 1st<\/sup>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n After a year absent from the calendar, Autodrome Chaudiere is reinstated.\u00a0 S\u00e9rie ACT will visit the 1\/4 mile track nested in the hills of the city of Vall\u00e9e-Jonction (Quebec) on July 28th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The last 2018 event on the schedule will be raced at ASE on September 23rd<\/sup>, at which time it will crown its new Champion.\u00a0 The winning Champion will be succeeding to an impressive list of former Champions : Jonathan Bouvrette, Patrick Laperle (4), Dany Tr\u00e9panier, Alex Labb\u00e9, Donald Theetge (2), Jean-Fran\u00e7ois D\u00e9ry, Karl Allard, Alexandre Gingras, Sylvain Lacombe.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Marc Patrick Roy<\/strong>, the Managing director for S\u00e9rie ACT is pleased with the schedule, but his work is not completed: \u201cThe drivers and spectators had asked for more events than we did in 2017.\u00a0 We listened. \u00a0Also, I am pleased to say that our schedule is harmonized with the ACT Late Model Tour (US Tour), a driver, if he wanted to, could race in 18 events in 2018.\u00a0 But the planning work for 2018 is not finished.\u00a0 We need to complete our sponsorship deals and while we do that, we also continue to work on the possibility of having a 10th<\/sup>\u00a0event on the schedule.\u00a0 More news will be released prior to the New Year as it becomes available.\u201d<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The 2018 ACT Late Model Sportsman rule book and registration forms are available online at\u00a0www.serieact.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n For more information, contact us via\u00a0media@serieact.com<\/a>\u00a0or by telephone at\u00a0514-907-1773<\/a>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n 2018 S\u00c9RIE ACT LATE MODEL SPORTSMAN SERIES SCHEDULE<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Laval, QC \u2013 December, 1st 2017 \u2013 S\u00e9rie ACT, the Canadian touring series operating under the American-Canadian Tour (ACT) flagship, is pleased to announce the 2018 schedule for ACT Late Model Sportsman, which will consist of nine (9) events at three different tracks in the Province of Quebec.
