The series debuted in 2017 with Craftsbury Common\u2019s Mike Martin capturing the inaugural championship.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Myers Container Service Triple Crown Series in 2018 will once again consist of three 75-lap races for Thunder Road\u2019s famed Flying Tiger division. All three events will award both Myers Container Service Triple Crown Series points and Lenny\u2019s Shoe &amp; Apparel Flying Tiger track championship points. There will be a separate championship and point fund for the top finishers in the final Triple Crown standings.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The first Triple Crown event will headline the 2018 weekly racing opener on\u00a0<span data-term=\"goog_944288007\">Friday, June 8<\/span>\u00a0as part of Capital City Auto Mart Night, while the second event will be held on\u00a0<span data-term=\"goog_944288008\">Thursday, July 12<\/span>\u00a0during Fairpoint\/Consolidated Communications Night. The Triple Crown championship will be awarded<span data-term=\"goog_944288009\">Thursday, August 9<\/span>\u00a0on Cody Chevrolet Cadillac Night.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThe Red Can Family is once again excited to sponsor the Triple Crown Series,\u201d Myers Waste &amp; Recycling owner Jeff Myers said. \u201cAs a local family business we are proud to support another local organization.
