NAPLES, ME (May 17) \u2013 Following a weekend off for the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North Super Late Model tour, attention focuses back on Maine\u2019s Oxford Plains Speedway. Sunday afternoon\u2019s Honey Badger Bar & Grill 150 will not only bring New England\u2019s best Super Late Model racers together, but they will be joined by the American-Canadian Tour (ACT) Late Models in another 150 lapper and the PASS Modifieds. The weekend of racing at Oxford Plains Speedway actually begins on Saturday night with the Budweiser Championship Series featuring the Super Late Models, Street Stocks, Bandits, Figure 8s and Rookies.
\n<\/p>\n

Last year\u2019s Oxford 250 winner, Curtis Gerry, is the hottest driver in New England having won the last three PASS North Super Late Model races at Oxford Plains. One driver who has been in Gerry\u2019s position before is former two-time Oxford 250 winner, Travis Benjamin. Benjamin was once unbeatable it seemed at Oxford Plains and hopes the momentum gained from winning last time out at Star Speedway can propel him to another victory this weekend.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, Curtis is on a roll for sure,\u201d said Benjamin. \u201cHis [Gerry] car doesn\u2019t fall off at all. I feel we are a lot better since the first race at Oxford and hopefully we will be able to break his streak this weekend.\u201d<\/p>\n

Benjamin and Gerry will be joined by another stout field of PASS North Super Late Models, featuring fellow Oxford 250 winners Ben Rowe and Glen Luce, along with former series champion, DJ Shaw. They will be joined by championship contenders Derek Griffith, Reid Lanpher, and Garrett Hall, along with Scott McDaniel, Steve Murphy, Ryan Robbins, Chad Dow, John Peters, Timmy and TJ Brackett, Scott Robbins, Ivan Kaffel, and New Brunswick\u2019s Lonnie Sommerville. Kyle Larson\u2019s spotter, Derek Kneeland will see his first action of the season at Oxford Plains as well.<\/p>\n

Coming up, Memorial Day weekend will see a big doubleheader of action with the PASS South Super Late Models in action at Concord Speedway for the Old Glory 125 on Friday, May 25 and the PASS North Super Late Models at Thunder Road International Speedbowl in Vermont, along with Thunder Road\u2019s ACT Late Models, as part of the Mekkelsen RV Memorial Day Classic on Sunday, May 27.<\/p>\n

It all gets under way this weekend at Oxford Plains Speedway on Saturday night with racing at 7 PM Budweiser Championship Series. Then on Sunday, rotating practice goes from 11 AM \u2013 1:30 PM, followed by features at 2 PM for the PASS North Super Late Models, ACT Late Models, and PASS Modifieds.<\/p>\n
