(Hermon) Maine's Family Fun Track managed to get three heat races in before the rain started to fall on Saturday, August 16th, just as the Pro-Limited's had taken the field to begin their heat race. Despite a quick downpour, light rain continued to fall, as the staff, and crews attempted to dry the track. As a result, officials were unable to return to green flag conditions.<\/div>\n


Racing Sponsored by Dennis Paper & Food Services was therefore postponed to Military Day, August 30th. Double feature events will take place that night, and no admission fee will be charged to any military personal who come in uniform, or with their military ID. <\/p>\n

On August 23rd, Linnehan's Credit Now! Auto Company sponsors racing, with a $750-to-win 50-lap Super Street race, and a chance for race fans to win a 2005 Ford Explorer, or Tickets, and Pit Passes to the upcoming Sylvania Sprint Cup race at New Hampshire  Motor Speedway in Loudon, NH.<\/div>\n
