Waterbury, VT<\/em> \u2013 Newmarket, NH\u2019s Bryan Kruczek has filed the first official entry for the American-Canadian Tour (ACT) Commonwealth Classic 65 at Virginia\u2019s Richmond Raceway on Saturday, March 30. The 2-time Pro All Stars Series winner will pilot the #19NH Little Webb\u2019s Fuel\/Sunoco Chevy Camaro for Bobby Webber Jr. Racing in ACT\u2019s maiden voyage at the \u00be-mile D-shaped oval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Kruczek has been a strong competitor in Late Model and Super Late Model racing throughout the Northeast for more than a decade, running with both PASS and ACT as well as weekly racing. The past two seasons, he has been a regular at New Hampshire\u2019s Lee USA Speedway in the R&R Late Model Sportsman division. He finished third in track points in 2018 with four wins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe saw Richmond added to the schedule, and right off the bat, Bobby decided we were going to go,\u201d Kruczek said. \u201cI was all for it as well \u2013 that was the biggest thing. I like big tracks. I like to race at Loudon \u2013 I\u2019ve been there a couple times in a PASS car, and I\u2019d practiced there with the ACT Tour before we ended up moving away from that, unfortunately. Speed is fun, obviously. And Richmond is probably the one NASCAR track that I actually watch on TV! So I\u2019m really excited to make some laps around there.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event will also be the first ACT start together for Kruczek and Webber Jr. The duo have plans to run a partial ACT Late Model Tour schedule in 2019, though Kruczek noted their exact schedule isn\u2019t fully determined at this time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regardless, Richmond will serve as a tune-up for both in preparation for the Tour season ahead. Webber Jr. is also the promoter of Epping, NH\u2019s Star Speedway, which will host the finale of the 2019 Summer Kickoff Series on Saturday, June 29.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think we\u2019ll be pretty good,\u201d Kruczek said. \u201cWe bought a Dale Shaw car \u2013 I\u2019ve been racing Dale\u2019s Super Late Models for a couple years now, so I\u2019m pretty close with Dale. It was actually one of Jimmy Hebert\u2019s cars. I think we\u2019ve got some really good equipment going down there, so I don\u2019t think we\u2019ll be too bad off.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entries are beginning to pour in for ACT\u2019s first visit to the state of Virginia. Williamstown, VT\u2019s Hebert, the number-three ACT Tour points finisher in 2018, will open his 2019 campaign at Richmond Raceway. Multi-time ACT winner John Donahue and his son Stephen Donahue, a Late Model winner at both Thunder Road and White Mountain Motorsports Park, have also filed their entries for the Commonwealth Classic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
