Track officials were hopeful to get in the  scheduled program at &quot;Maine&#39;s Center of Speed&quot;, but for the fourth time this  season were forced to pull the plug due to a heavy blanket of drizzle and fog  moving through the midcoast region. The full pre-race practice schedule was run  leading up to the start of the show, but the decision was made&nbsp;to  stop&nbsp;the program just prior to the 5:00pm start time with the intensity of  the drizzle increasing. As a result fans missed out on their opportunity to see  the True Value Modified Series in&nbsp;its first ever appearance at the states  fastest track. The Wiscasset Ford 100 will now be rescheduled&nbsp;as part of  the Saturday August 9th program. Plans for makeup races for track&#39;s weekly  racing series divisions have not been announced. Wiscasset Raceway will next  return to action Saturday July 5th at 5:00pm with action in all six weekly  racing series divisions plus a huge fireworks show to celebrate the Independence  Day holiday.
