Benjamin is the ninth first time PASS super late model feature winner of 2008.
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Fans of the Pro All Stars Series knew that it was only a matter of time before Benjamin earned a PASS checkered flag. He’s been at or near the front of the field in all eight PASS North features this season. He was the runner-up at Wiscasset and Riverside and hasn’t finished outside of the top ten all year. In fact Benjamin finished second in last years Atlantic CAT 250. He’s the first to admit that he has a dislike for flat race tracks in general but Scotia Speedworld is an exception to the rule. And now, the immaculate Maritime oval will always have an extra special place in Benjamin’s racing career.

Benjamin and Rowe’s one-two finish kept the PASS North point standings in a virtual deadlock. Heading to Halifax Ben had a six point edge on Travis, but Benjamin edged ever closer to the top of the heap with his Atlantic CAT 250 win over the four time series champion.

Benjamin, Flemming and Trevor Sanborn won the PASS qualifying heat races. The race took just one hour 20 minutes to complete with eight cautions flags.

PASS North heads for its biggest pay day of 2008 this Sunday August 17th, the $30,000.00 to win Toyota Tundra 250 at Wiscasset (ME) Raceway.
