NAPLES ME (September 30, 2008) The Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North Super Late Model regulars have crisscrossed the Northeast for five months, racing from Connecticut to Nova Scotia and every place in between. Now, there’s just one chance left to visit PASS North victory lane when Ray Haskell Ford presents the Fall Brawl at Wiscasset (ME) Raceway on Saturday October 4th.<\/p>\n

The winners’ list to date includes several you’d expect to see and a bunch of newcomers too. Johnny Clark leads the way in the win column with four; he’s already scored twice at Wiscasset, including a $30,000.00 plus payday in the Toyota Tundra 250. Clark is coming off another big win at PASS 400 weekend where he claimed the $10,000.00 winner’s check in the season’s longest event. Ben Rowe and rookie D.J. Shaw both have a pair of wins; Shaw scored his first career PASS win at Wiscasset, so he’s got to be considered one of the favorites at the Fall Brawl as well. Travis Benjamin, Derek Ramstrom and Adam Bates all broke through for their first PASS wins this season and Mike Rowe visited victory lane in the season opener back in May.
The list of drivers that haven’t made their way to victory lane is just as impressive. Cassius Clark leads the PASS National Championship Series, even though he’s winless so far. Obviously he’s been knocking on the door, and no doubt he’ll go all out to finish his PASS North Season on a winning note. Same goes for Kelly Moore who finally had a good run on PASS 400 Weekend, coming home third. Moore cut his racing teeth at the coastal oval and if the car is right he’ll challenge for the win. Richie Dearborn consistently runs up front but has a goose egg in his 2008 win column, too. Same goes for multi-time Wiscasset champion Scott Chubbuck and Steve Berry, one of the fastest PASS regulars yet to visit victory lane. Travis Kittleson has run up front in Jay Cushman’s ride on several occasions and he’ll make the trip from North Carolina to try and make his first visit to victory lane. This combination certainly has the potential to score at Wiscasset.
It’s championship day for both the PASS North Super Late Models and the PASS Mods. Both races are tight, with several contenders for each title.
