\nneedy families When the final figures were totaled this week, mission accomplished.

\nRetired racing great, Donnie Miller SR, and father of the late Ricky Miller, whom
\nthe annual \u201cRicky\u2019s Race For Kids\u201d is named for, announced Thursday, the
\nfinal tabulations from last weeks race and fundraiser.<\/p>\n
In a prepared statement The Miller family patriarch said, \u201cIt is with humble pride
\nthat I can announce the total funds raised for David\u2019s House through \u201cRicky\u2019s
\nRace For Kid\u2019s is $37,612. The support and generosity that this event receives
\noverwhelms me.\u201d <\/p>\n
\u201cMy family and my daily struggle to cope with Ricky\u2019s loss is made a tiny
\nbit easier knowing this event in Ricky\u2019s name will go to helping other families
\nwith their struggle,\u201d <\/p>\n
Miller also addressed those that, for over a year, helped his family organize and
\nexecute the 4th annual fundraiser. \u201cEach and every one of you can be proud of your
\ngreat effort as this event continues to grow each year. From the bottom of our
\nhearts, Ricky\u2019s Dad, Mom, Brother, and Sister, Thank you.\u201d<\/p>\n
With the support of Prime Corporate Sponsors, Irving Energy, of Portsmouth,
\nNH, and Mascoma Savings Back, of Lebanon, NH., the Valenti Modified Racing
\nSeries sanctioned race carried a posted purse of $36,500. The popular event has
