{"id":477,"date":"2010-05-27T01:43:02","date_gmt":"2010-05-27T01:43:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/maineracer.com\/wp\/?p=477"},"modified":"2010-05-27T01:43:02","modified_gmt":"2010-05-27T01:43:02","slug":"pass-sportsman-headline-opening-day-2010-at-spud-speedway","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/maineracing.com\/legacy\/2010\/05\/pass-sportsman-headline-opening-day-2010-at-spud-speedway\/","title":{"rendered":"PASS Sportsman headline opening day 2010 at Spud Speedway"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 10pt;\"><strong><span style=\"line-height: 115%; font-size: 12pt;\">PASS  Sportsman headline opening day 2010 at Spud Speedway<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 10pt;\"><span style=\"line-height: 115%; font-size: 12pt;\">The  Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Sportsman division will travel to the crown  of Maine  this Sunday May 30 for their first visit to Caribou\u2019s Spud Speedway, and  the  PASS teams are looking forward to the challenge of competing on a new  race  track..<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 10pt;\"><span style=\"line-height: 115%; font-size: 12pt;\">The  PASS Sportsman racers kicked off their 2010 season at Beech Ridge Motor  Speedway  on May 1<sup>st<\/sup> and 2009 series champion Carey Martin took down  the win  over Mike Landry, the driver that chased Martin all summer long in the  2009  points race. Landry came up only two points shy of the title when the  final  checker of 2009 flew. Expect this pair and many more to do battle with  Spuds own  Coca Cola Super Street regulars in a 75 green flag lap contest that\u2019s  sure to  keep race fans on the edge of their seats.<br \/>\n<br \/><!--more--><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 10pt;\"><span style=\"line-height: 115%; font-size: 12pt;\">Joining  the PASS Sportsman and Coca Cola Super Streets on the schedule will be  Spuds  Young Guns, Northern Lights, Fast Fours, Street Stock and Late Model  Sportsman  divisions for a thrilling six division opening day card.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 10pt;\"><span style=\"line-height: 115%; font-size: 12pt;\">All  divisions may participate in an optional<span> <\/span>practice session on Saturday May 29 from 11:00 AM until 4:00 PM.  On  Sunday May 30 the pit gate swings open at 10:00 Am and the racing gets  the first  green flag of the 2010 Spud Speedway season at 2:00 PM. Admission is  just<span> <\/span>$10.00<span> <\/span>for adults and $5.00 for kids  ages 8-16.
