{"id":579,"date":"2011-01-05T06:52:40","date_gmt":"2011-01-05T06:52:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/maineracer.com\/wp\/?p=579"},"modified":"2011-01-07T09:22:15","modified_gmt":"2011-01-07T14:22:15","slug":"more-new-names-added-to-the-race-early-entry-list","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/maineracing.com\/legacy\/2011\/01\/more-new-names-added-to-the-race-early-entry-list\/","title":{"rendered":"More new names added to THE RACE early entry list"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span>NAPLES ME (January  4) The holiday season has come and gone and\u00a0our thoughts may not be totally  \u00a0focused on racing at this time of year,\u00a0 but a new crop of early  entrants found the time to sign on for THE RACE at Historic North Wilkesboro, a  300 lap PASS South sanctioned race that will pay a whopping $75,000.00 to the  winner.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span>Two Arizona racers  lead the way. Scott Dodd and Scott Rueschenburg both hail from Mesa and they are  going to make the long haul east to be a part of history when THE RACE gets the  green on April 9. <\/span><span>Dodd is a multi time  winner at Irwindale Speedway and Rueschenburg has won races in multiple series  from the Midwest to the left coast.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\" \/>\n<br \/><!--more-->\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span>Ross Kenseth has a  famous last name but he&#8217;s earned his own way in the super late model ranks. At  the age of seventeen he&#8217;s already a champion and he will look for his biggest  career win when he makes the trip to Wilkes County for THE RACE.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span>Ralph Brown will  have a shorter haul from South Carolina, but multi time PASS North race winner  Adam Bates will have a long pull from his Warner New Hampshire home. Spencer  Wauters will wheel his dad Richie&#8217;s famed number five when qualifying gets  underway on Saturday April 8. Floridian Jeff Choquette is a threat wherever he  chooses to race, and Georgia&#8217;s Casey Roderick will be going all out to claim the  first race ever run under the lights on the fabled short track.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span>It&#8217;s not too late  to save on entry fees for THE RACE, so if your team plans to take on the super  stars of short track super late model racing visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.proallstarsseries.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">www.proallstarsseries.com<\/a> and print  off an entry blank.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span>Fans can purchase  advance tickets by mail; simply place your order with the PASS office using the  printable ticket order form at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.proallstarsseries.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">www.proallstarsseries.com<\/a>. Adult  advance sale tickets for Saturday April 9 are $25.00 in advance, $35.00 on race  day.
