Atlantic Championship <\/strong><\/span>‘Day of Destruction’ and Endurance event <\/strong>as well as the<\/span><\/pre>\n
 Atlantic Open Wheel (AOW) <\/em><\/strong>modifieds tour <\/strong>this Saturday,<\/span><\/pre>\n<\/div>\n

 October 24th<\/sup> at 1:00 p.m. to cap off the 2009 motorsports season in Atlantic Canada.<\/span><\/pre>\n<\/div>\n

The event, rescheduled from October 17th<\/sup>, will feature ‘edge-of-your-seat’ Full Contact and Barrel races, <\/span><\/pre>\n
a <\/span>200-lap Endurance race, a 35-lap AOW feature, street drag racing and burnouts as well as a giant <\/span><\/pre>\n
Demolition Derby. The ‘crash and bang’ event promises to be an action-packed afternoon of <\/span><\/pre>\n
‘smash-em up’ action with upwards of $10,000 in winnings available to competitors.<\/span><\/pre>\n<\/div>\n

Saturday’s final event of the 2009 racing and motorsports season gets underway at 1:00 p.m., <\/span><\/pre>\n
with admission of $12 for adults, $5 for children 5 to 15 years of age, and FREE for children under 5. <\/span><\/pre>\n
Front gates and grandstands open at noon while pit gates open at 10:30 a.m.<\/span><\/pre>\n<\/div>\n
