With two championships already in hand, Theetge seeks a record third S\u00e9rie ACT Castrol title in 2012.<\/p>\n<p>2012 was shaping up nicely for Quebec\u2019s Jean Francois D\u00e9ry, who led the points after two straight third place finishes to begin the season, but it all came to a screeching halt when a rock shot through his radiator in the third event of the year, relegating the point leader to a last place finish.<br \/>\n<!--more--> <\/p>\n<p>Theetge wasted no time capitalizing on the lucky break. After winning the second event of the season at Autodrome Chaudi\u00e8re, Theetge dominated the third too, picking up another big win and vaulting him to the point lead by over thirty points. D\u00e9ry plummeted from first to sixth.<\/p>\n<p>Former S\u00e9rie ACT Castrol Champion Karl Allard lurks in second on the wings of an opening day victory at Autodrome Montmagny, the very track S\u00e9rie ACT Castrol heads to this weekend. Up and comer Dany Trepanier rides third overall, two-time S\u00e9rie ACT Castrol Champion Patrick Laperle is fourth and David Michaud completes the top five. D\u00e9ry falls to sixth, rookie Etienne Cliche is 7th, and Patrick Hamel, Gaetan Lauzier, and Patrick Cliche round out the top ten.<\/p>\n<p>The action resumes this Saturday, June 30 at Autodrome Montmagny in Montmagny, QC.
