Shea of New<br \/> England Concrete Products, should be no different this Friday, August 13th.<\/p>\n<p> Silva, who died in 2004 was a multi-time winner of Star Speedway&#8217;s<br \/> International Classic. He also won championships in a Modified, and was a<br \/> four-time U.S. Winter Nationals Champion. Silva also drove for noted car<br \/> owners Vic Miller and Clyde Booth, and is remembered for lapping the entire<br \/> field twice in a 1974 All-Star race at the Waterford Speedbowl.<br \/>\n<br \/><!--more--><\/p>\n<p> In all, Silva won an estimated 500 features in twelve states during his<br \/> racing career. An Ollie Silva Museum will be on display at Lee on Friday. It<br \/> will include a special collection of memorabilia, created by Wes Pettengill,<br \/> Rick Eastman and the Silva family. It will be on display in the midway, with<br \/> some items never shown publicly before.<\/p>\n<p> The original number zero Super Modified will also be on display, along with<br \/> other Super Modified cars from the past as well.<\/p>\n<p> The 2010 version of this event promises to be more competitive than ever,<br \/> with Chris Perley, Russ Wood, Mike Ordway Sr., and Rob Summers among the<br \/> contenders. In 2009, Mark Sammut shocked New England race fans as he drove<br \/> by both local favorites Perley and Wood in the waning laps to claim the<br \/> victory.<\/p>\n<p> All of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series weekly divisions will be in<br \/> competition as well on Friday, with a features-only format for most<br \/> divisions to allow time for the many activities planned on this special<br \/> night.<\/p>\n<p> Bentley Warren will once again be a part of the event, with his Charity<br \/> benefit Bike Run making a stop at New Hampshire&#8217;s Center of Speed. The race<br \/> winner will also become a guaranteed starter for the Race against Cancer<br \/> ISMA event at Seekonk (Ma.) Speedway in October.<\/p>\n<p> The Late Model and Small Block Super Modified heat races will take place at<br \/> 6:00 PM, with the ISMA heat races slated for 6:45 PM.
