Beech Ridge Motor Speedway
SCARBOROUGH, Maine – Joey Doiron of Berwick, Maine, finished fifth in the PASS North Series Southern Maine Motors.com 150 at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough, Maine, on Saturday, July 9. It was the best finish of the season for the reigning PASS North Series Rookie of the Year and came at his home track. Doiron started 14th, but he worked his way into the Top-10 after just a handful of laps. He moved into the fifth spot on Lap 80 and was fourth just five laps later. Doiron was closing in on third place when his engine weakened, however, but he was able to hold on for fifth at the checkered flag.
