[b]DAVE LIND RACING OFFERS FREE TIRES FOR COASTAL 200 AT WISCASSET[/b] As the finishing touches are put together for the 2008 season at Wiscasset Raceway, Dave Lind Racing of Norfolk, MA has stepped up to help two lucky race teams in one of the track's premier events. Memorial Day weekend will mark the return of the $10,000 to win Coastal 200 to the "Center of Speed" and Dave Lind Racing has agreed to give a set of tires to two different Late Model Sportsman drivers who enter the May 25th race. DLR is the distributor of American Racing Tires throughout New England including Wiscasset Raceway. Track race director Derek Mingo announced the deal recently and stated that all teams showing up for the day of the Coastal 200 will be eligible for the drawing. "Teams will buy their tires as they usually do and then at a manditory pre-race drivers meeting the drawing will be held for tires. Drivers must be present at the meeting to win. The two teams chosen as the winners will be given their money back for a set of four tires they bought." Mingo also announced that although there is no racing scheduled for the day before the Coastal 200, there will be a practice session Saturday May 24th from noon to 5:00pm. Any LMS teams purchasing tires Saturday will have them impounded at the track for Sunday's race. The Coastal 200 has established itself as one of the premier racing events on the northern New England racing schedule.
