For the fourth time in seven outings Eddie MacDonald powered to an impressive win in the Seventh Annual Bond Auto Parts ACT Invitational at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Saturday, September, 26. The Exit Realty/Hancock Electric Chevy started 20th in the 43 car field to take the checker flag in a convincing win in the 50 lap event.

“This is my favorite track so to get this win in front of all our fans, friends, and family is fantastic,” said the jubilant veteran racer. “To be able to win this event four times in seven tries is due to all the hard work everyone puts into this car. From Freddie and Sheila (Peterson) on down, none of this would be possible without a lot of effort. When the race started we knew we had a fast car but we didn’t have time to waste because the race was only fifty laps. Fortunately, the car responded well and I was able to get up in contention early.”

Eddie Mac bounced back from the set back and put on an impressive display of driving from the rear of the starting grid of 27 cars. Before that could happen, things took a turn for the worse with the Exit Realty/Hancock Electric Chevy in third place in the heat race when the #17 RI decided to dump the #17Ma with two laps remaining in the 12 lap heat.
