LEE, NH: A special 47-lap hobby stock feature race will highlight a 12-race program thisFriday night at Lee USA Speedway.
The Johnny Durant 47 honoring former driver and track official John Durant, of NorthHampton, NH, is on tap for hobby stocks following qualifying heats.
The hobby stock season point championship is on the line with Boe Green, Berwick,Maine, leading Paul Palen, of Pelham, NH, by just 20 points. Ryan Green, the point leader’s son, is third with Jimmy Renfrew Jr. and Patrick Tanguay the next three in order, only a few pointsapart.

Late model sportsmen will run heat races plus a 30-lap main event. Frankie Eldredge,of Stratham, NH, leads the current point standings with 680. Bryan Kruczek, in the Brian House No. 88 from Haverhill, is second with 658 points with Jay Sands, Hampton, NH, third(646) and Kris Miller, Bedford, NH, fourth (632) and Jim Russell, Exeter, NH fifth (615).
The Ironmen stocks will run heats plus a 25-lap feature paying $200 to the winner. Purestocks will have heat races and a 20-lap feature.
