Oxford Replaces Monadnock on ACT-PASS Schedule with July 11 Showdown
Waterbury, VT — The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and Pro All Stars Series (PASS) announced today that the doubleheader originally planned for Monadnock Speedway on July 4 has been moved to Maine’s Oxford Plains Speedway on Sunday, July 11. Qualifying begins at 4:00pm with features to follow.
The program will remain the same, with twin 150-lap features for the ACT Late Model Tour and PASS Super Late Models plus a 50-lap PASS Modified shootout. The post time was chosen in part because of the potential for extremely hot midday temperatures in mid-July. It also allows weekly Late Model and Super Late Model racers around the region more time to get their cars ready so they can compete at Oxford if they choose.
The complete schedule of events and pricing will be announced in the coming weeks. Please check the ACT, PASS, and Oxford Plains Speedway websites for further updates. Monadnock Speedway and ACT are still in discussions about the possibility of an event at the track later in the year if scheduling allows.
The ACT Late Model Tour is next in action this Saturday, June 12 at North Woodstock, NH’s White Mountain Motorsports Park for the 46th Caron Fabrication Spring Green. The 121-lap shootout is joined by the local Wells River Chevrolet Flying Tigers, Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Stock Mini’s, and Dads 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Trucks with a 6:00pm post time. Admission is $20 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6-12, and $40 for a family of four (2 adults, 2 kids).
