Visit to Bangor’s historic Bass Park next stop for Eastern Snocross Tour Maine’s Queen City set to host points races, Vintage classes
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. (Feb. 28, 2020) — Of all the towns and cities within northern New England’s vast boundaries, one city in the Great State of Maine boasts a rich history of snowmobile racing unmatched across our six state region.
On Saturday and Sunday, March 14-15, the Queen City of Bangor will once again roar to life with finely-tuned racing engines as the new Eastern Snocross Tour (ESXT) invades historic Bass Park. All of Saturday’s finals will be run “Under the Lights,” while Sunday will feature a daytime program.
Spectator gates open at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, while gates will open at 10 a.m. on Sunday. Admission is $15 per day for adults, or $25 for a weekend pass. Advance sale tickets can be purchased online at https://cmatvtc.ticketleap.com/bangor-snocross/.
Bell, Lessard double up in Maine for Rock Maple Racing Cross Country Series Thompson sweeps Semi Pro classes at Rangeley’s annual Snodeo
RANGELEY, Maine (Jan. 27, 2020) — Heath Bell and Remington Lessard didn’t let a little warmer than average weather slow their charge on Saturday, splitting the Pro finals in Rangeley as Rock Maple Racing (RMR) completed Round 2 of its six-race 2020 schedule at the famed Snodeo.
Bell (Bell Racing/Ski-doo), of New Gloucester, notched his second straight Woody’s Pro Open win in Maine after winning the opening round in Sherman the previous week. Lessard crossed the stripe in second, while Casey Savage (Polaris) finished third to make it an all-Maine podium.
Lessard (Laflamme Racing/Ski-doo), of Monmouth, bounced back to repeat his performance in Sherman with a victory in Owens Corning Pro Factory Stockaction. Savage capped a great day with runner-up honors, while Luke Vaadi (Mannsville, N.Y./Polaris) filled out the podium with a solid run.
LOUDON, NH: Kick off the 2020 racing season at the North East Motor Sports Museum on Saturday February 15th with free food and fun at our annual Daytona Party. The party starts at noon and runs until the end of the NASCAR Xfinity 300 which will be shown on our new 12×10 big screen! The party is free for museum members and kids under 12. For one day only the 60 foot slot car drag strip returns to the museum for guests to test their reaction time and claim bragging rights. The slot car drag strip features a working christmas tree starting light, so don’t red light! In addition to the drag strip the museum slot car oval will be zooming with many makes and models of cars.
Bell, Lessard split Pro class wins in Sherman for Rock Maple Racing Gould Mountain Farms kicks off 2020 in fine style
SHERMAN, Maine (Jan. 20, 2020) — Veteran snowmobile racers Heath Bell and Remington Lessard split the Pro class finals on Saturday, as Rock Maple Racing (RMR) completed Round 1 of its’ six-race 2020 cross country schedule at the beautiful Gould Mountain Farms.
Bell (Ski-doo), of New Gloucester, Maine, blasted his way to victory in the Woody’s Pro Open final over Casey Savage and Lessard. Bell crossed the stripe just 1.563 seconds ahead of Savage in a hotly-contested race. Twenty sleds ran the final, with battles for position all over the 5.2 mile course.
Season opener at Gould Mountain Farms set for Saturday at Rock Maple Racing
HAMPSTEAD, N.H. (Jan. 15, 2020) — With our widespread and record-setting January thaw now fading into memory as local meteorologists discuss two significant storms coming later this week, the time for snowmobile racing has finally returned here in the north country.
Cross country race teams from around the northeast will converge on the beautiful Gould Mountain Farms in Sherman, Maine, this Saturday, January 18, for Round 1 on the six-race 2020 Rock Maple Racing schedule. Spectator admission is just $5 for adults, while children age 12 and under will be admitted free with a paying adult. Racing will get under way at 10 a.m.

HERMON, Maine (Jan 28, 2019) – Veteran Pro rider Mike Pilotte swept the Pro class finals over the weekend, while rising stars Dalton Jacquier and Adam Levi split top honors in Pro Lite as East Coast Snocross (ECS) completed Rounds 3 and 4 at Speedway 95.
