John Hoyt Memorial Event rescheduled for September 8th

WINCHESTER, NH — Rain showers moved over the Monadnock Speedway just after practice sessions had concluded for the Granite State Pro Stock Series JBH 100 and forced the 100-lap event to be postponed. The memorial event, held in honor of late Granite State Pro Stock Series Co-Founder John Hoyt, has been rescheduled for Saturday, September 8.

NASCAR Nationwide Series part-time competitor Matt Frahm, of New Salem, NH, was among the 18 Granite State Pro Stock Series competitors who had entered the JBH 100. Series point leader Bobby Cabral, David’s House 106 winner Mike O’Sullivan, and 15-year-old Derek Griffith were series notables also entered.

The Granite State Pro Stock Series will travel to Star Speedway in Epping, NH, on Saturday, August 18. The 100-lap event will mark the third race in the 2012 Granite State Pro Stock Series season.
