AMSOIL signs three-year agreement with East Coast Snocross as presenting sponsor; Woody’s, Choko, New England Racing Fuel also return for 2013-2014 season
CHESHIRE, Conn. (Sept. 17, 2013) – Officials at East Coast Snocross (ECS) are pleased to announce the signing of a three-year agreement with AMSOIL, a world leader in synthetic oils and lubricants, as co-presenting sponsor for the popular regional snocross series.
AMSOIL again joins Woody’s Traction and Control products as valued presenting sponsors at ECS.
Used by racers and trail riders around the globe, AMSOIL products are synonymous with high performance. The company’s support of snocross, on both the national and regional levels, is unmatched within the industry. Here in the Northeast, that support means a great deal.
“All of us at ECS are honored and proud to have AMSOIL back and so committed to the future of our sport,” said series co-owner and president Bob Roscoe. “Their support is highly valued and adds credibility to what we do here in the Northeast. We’ll work hard to ensure their message reaches our fans all season long.”
The folks at Woody’s have also supported regional snocross racing heavily in recent years, and will do so again in 2013-2014. With studs and carbides to fit every need on both track and trail, Woody’s is a must-own brand for serious racers and riders. Jim Musselman and Woody Kozlow’s legacy continues around the snowbelt, especially here in the often-icy northeast.
“We also appreciate the support of Woody’s traction products to help make this series even better,” Roscoe added. “There isn’t a racer in our pits or trail rider I know that isn’t aware of the high quality products produced by Woody’s. We recommend them to everybody who wants to stay in control.”
Also returning to the fine family of ECS associate sponsors are Choko outdoor apparel and New England Racing Fuel. Choko has provided outdoor gear (jackets, bibs, gloves) for race officials here in the Northeast for many years. ECS officials wear Choko gear through some of the most brutal conditions winter can dish out, yet they stay warm and dry thanks to smart design and quality materials.
New England Racing Fuel, based in Burlington, Connecticut, is the northeast regional dealer for Sunoco Racing Fuels, including the fuel used by ECS teams. Sunoco makes the world’s top high-octane fuels recognized by racers of every type, from short tracks ovals to drag racers. Co-owner John Holland can be seen weekly at major races all over the region assisting customers.
“We’re very fortunate to have respected companies like Choko and New England Racing Fuel back on board for 2013-2014,” Roscoe said. “All of us who depend on Choko to keep us warm value their support each and every week. We tell our fans about their fine apparel several times a day. And to have John and the folks at New England Racing Fuel return is another honor. I’m proud we have a product in which they see value, and we’ll strive to promote them from now through our season finale.”
In the world of snowmobile racing, AMSOIL is an industry leader. Its synthetic two-stroke oils, featuring INTERCEPTOR® Synthetic 2-Stroke Oil and DOMINATOR® Synthetic 2-Stroke Oil, are among the best money can buy. INTERCEPTOR prevents piston skirt scuffing, ring sticking and exhaust power valve sticking. DOMINATOR is engineered with carefully selected, higher-viscosity synthetic base oils to withstand the high heat and pressure common to high-performance and racing applications.
East Coast Snocross is the northeastern regional affiliate of the International Series of Champions (ISOC), the national sanctioning body for snowmobile snocross. ECS strives to maintain a healthy level of competition in grass-roots snocross throughout New England and New York, while at the same time cultivating new talent for tomorrow’s factory-backed national teams.
