Alex Moore will be back behind the wheel of the #21 kart racing in the Sportsman Series at Richmond Karting Speedway (RKS).

In the off season Alex has been involved with Berlin City – Drive for Education, “It’s our Aspire Higher Race Car program at the OHCHS (Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School) and by making a grant to Berlin they were able to give us a specific amount of money to get tools for the car, and if we don’t have tools, us teens will not learn how to work on a car or race car.”

Alex has goals all set for the 2016 race season, “We will race full time for our 4th Season at RKS and part time at OPS, and Win a Regular Season Championship at RKS.”

In the last part of the season at RKS Alex and the #21 really turn the season around getting 3 wins in the last 5 races, “Focusing and the car went better.”

Last race season Alex won the XXX Championship at RKS, “First ever Championship, feels Amazing!”

The 21 ran a limited schedule at Oxford Plains Speedway had great success, “OPS let’s just say I’m 4-0 (Wins).”

The Indy Series will be racing a road course through the streets of Boston this summer so what about a RKS road race? “A Kart Road Course Race would be awesome and sweet with the twist and turns, it would be different from OPS and RKS (oval tracks).”

Alex and the race team would like to thank their Team Sponsors, – WildCo Petroleum Equipment and Services, Fashion Inc., Marwin Construction, A&W Paving, and The Sun Room.
