St-Eustache, QC – Donald Theetge extended his Série ACT record with his 21st career victory in the St-Eustache 200 at Quebec’s Autodrome St-Eustache Sunday, September 20.

Boischatel, QC’s Theetge took the top spot for the first time on lap 89 and led 111 of the final 112 laps, surrendering the lead for only a single circuit to defending Série ACT Champion Alex Labbé following the race’s final restart. The win snapped a long drought for Theetge, whose last Série ACT victory was in July 2013. Theetge had finished second in the previous two Série ACT events.

Vallée-Jct., QC – Wayne Helliwell Jr. took advantage of lapped traffic to slip by Donald Theetge with 11 laps remaining and take his fourth win American-Canadian Tour (ACT) win of the season at Vallée-Jct., QC’s Autodrome Chaudiere on Saturday, September 12.

Dover, NH’s Helliwell had stalked Theetge through traffic after the two got around then-leader Jean-François Déry on lap 169 of the 200-lap event. As the pair approached the lapped car of Etienne Cliche, Theetge looked to pass him on the outside groove. But Cliche drifted high entering turn 3 and Helliwell dove to the bottom, grabbing the lead and driving away for the win in front of the second-largest crowd in track history.

EAST MONTPELIER, Vt. – Determined to gain back some of the points lost in the previous race due to a late race incident, Packard in her 9xME Northstar Fireworks/Packard Fuels car drove a clean and well calculated race to bring home a much-deserved 9th place finish.

Making only her second visit to the 5/8 mile oval in Ste-Croix, the East Montpelier native had a decent car in practice, with the team making numerous changes throughout to dial the car in to the 18-year olds liking. “We had a decent car throughout practice,” said Packard. “We spent most of practice trying to figure out the track just because it is so different from anywhere else. We weren’t super-fast, but the car was pretty good. When we put on new tires in final practice, the pace picked up some and we knew we would have a good car for the heat.”

Ste-Croix, QC – Hudson, NH’s Joey Polewarczyk Jr. turned an early setback into an opportune moment en route to winning the American-Canadian Tour (ACT) Can-Am 150 at Ste-Croix, QC’s Circuit Riverside Speedway on Saturday, August 22.

“Joey Pole” was involved in an incident with Martin Goulet Jr. and Brandon Atkins on lap 18 of the 150-lap event and pitted for two tires and adjustments during the resulting caution. After driving back up to third on the track, Pole inherited the lead when leaders Wayne Helliwell Jr. and Jean-François Déry pitted under caution with 44 laps remaining.

Cassius Clark Wins Prestigious Atlantic Cat 250

(Halifax, NS, August 8th, 2015) – Cassius Clark (Farmington, ME) captured his record tying third career Atlantic Cat 250 title Saturday at Scotia Speedworld. Clark won a rain shortened event after weather moved in for good at Lap 160. Clark dominated the event, leading 146 of the completed 160 laps. Craig Slaunwhite (Terence Bay, NS) came across the stripe in second with Donald Chisholm (Antigonish, NS) coming home in third. Daryl Mahar (Hubley, NS) led early in the event from the outside pole and would finish fourth, ahead of new point leader and 2014 Atlantic Cat 250 titlist Dylan Blenkhorn (Truro, NS).

Clark won Atlantic Tiltload Time Trials with a lap 14.218 seconds. Blenkhorn (Truro, NS) won the King Freight Dash for Cash. Shawn Turple (Enfield, NS) and Cale Gale (Mobile, AL) won their respective Dartmouth Dodge heat races. Clark also took home the $1000 cash award for leading halfway. DJ Casey (Prospect, NS) was the Exide Batteries Rookie of the Race with a 20th place finish. Gale accepted the Atlantic Tiltload Pole Challenge but could only muster a 17th place finish after starting last in the 23 car field.
