White Mountain Race Recap – Trombley Wins in the Mountains!

Justin Trombley from Winter Harbor, Maine made the long drive to North Woodstock, New Hampshire worth it as he survived the heat and calamity of Saturday nights NEMST race. Chris McKinstry brought home the Tater’s NASCAR Merchandise $100 award given out at the drivers meeting as well.

Ten Tour minis filed into the pit area of White Mountain Motorsports Park on this holiday weekend for the make-up of the June 12th rain out. The two rounds of practice went well and all the cars were running lap times very close to one another. We also had Ricky Porter return to tour racing and NEMST newcomer Tim Boyle show up.

NEMST Schedule Updates

This press release is just a reminder of the current schedule updates from the NEMST.

July 3 at Lee has been put on hold due to scheduling conflicts TBD
The White Mountain make up race is being held July 3rd.
Unity has switched to Saturday nights so our race date has been moved from the 9th to the 10th.
October 2nd at Seekonk has become our Championship event and will be 75 laps, $1000 to win.
October 9th at All Star has been cancelled.

NEMST Ready to Roll into White Mountain

The North East Mini Stock Tour is ready to make there first of two appearances at White Mountain Motorsports Park in N. Woodstock, NH.  The race is sure to be exciting with hotshoe rookie Chris McKinstry trying to back up is opening day win, but  be sure that last years championship duo of Emerson Cayer and Justin Trombley will try and stop McKinstry.

The WMMP facility with its short straights and high banked corners provide excellent racing for the NEMST cars. A strong field of cars is to be expected for this Saturdays race including those of fast Lee USA top runner Tim Boyle and sixteen year old Thomas True making his first NEMST start.

Championship to be settled at Seekonk

The North East Mini Stock Tour is pleased to announce with Kraze Korlacki Speed Equipment that our tenth and championship crowning event will be held at Seekonk Speedway in Seekonk, MA on October 2nd. This special race event “Racing Against Breast Cancer”, shall feature in addition to NEMST, The IS MA supermodifieds return to the “ Cement Palace ” for a 100 lap event. Also in competition for the first time at Seekonk Speedway is the small block supermodifieds from Lee USA Speedway, and the New England Powder Puff Championship Race. After,

NEMST at Canaan

The North East Mini Stock Tour opened its season Saturday under gloomy skies and uncertain weather conditions at Canaan Fair Speedway. There was a small shower as the pit gates opened but it quickly dispersed and led for some good practice for all of the NEMST teams. Jeff Prindall was the winner of the Tater’s NASCAR Merchandise $100 bonus for registered drivers.

NEMST New Bonus Award and PR

The NEMST would like to announce a new bonus award to be given away at all of the 2010 race events. The Taters NASCAR Merchandise Entry Bonus will give $100 to a randomly drawn car at the drivers meeting each race. This bonus is eligible for all NEMST registered teams that are at the event, whether they qualify or not.
