Qualifiers For 2018 “Roads To Oxford And Richmond” Program Announced
NAPLES, ME (February 16) – Pro All Stars Series (PASS) President Tom Mayberry announced today the expansion of the newly named “Roads To Oxford And Richmond” program in 2018. Now in its fifth year, the groundbreaking “Roads To Oxford And Richmond” concept will expand to give racers across the continent the chance to compete in short track asphalt racing’s biggest events. Competitors from both the United States and Canada will have the opportunity to race for guaranteed starting spots, while keeping focused on the 45th Annual Oxford 250 and the inaugural Commonwealth Classic at Richmond Raceway throughout the season.

Jacob Perry of Stonington, CT., will be starting a new adventure this race season, as he gets behind the wheel in the #76 Valenti Modified car this season. Like most race car drivers Jacob has been getting ready for the 2018 race season, “Working on the racecars, using Iracing to practice and snowboarding.”
Jacob will be racing the full V-Modified schedule, a total of 15 races at 8 different tracks including 1 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The first race of the season is on April 7th at Thompson Motorsports Park. “The track I’m looking most forward to on the schedule is probably NHMS. I can’t wait to be up on the big track after running the Bandolero track there. I’m also excited for Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park.”

The Advance Auto Parts Clash (run in segments of 25 and 50 laps), a Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series non-points, invitation-only battle, is always a highlight of Speedweeks. The 17-driver field featured 2017 pole winners, former Clash champions, former DAYTONA 500 pole winners who competed full-time in 2017 and drivers who qualified for the 2017 Monster Energy Series playoffs.

PASS Super Late Model Racers Preparing To Kick Off 2018 Season At Dillon
CHARLOTTE, NC (February 8) – Racers from across the country are busy counting down the days as the 2018 Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Model season opener at Dillon Motor Speedway draws closer. The 13th Annual South Carolina Clash 200 at Dillon on Saturday, February 24 will not only mark the beginning of the PASS National Championship Series, but it will also be the first race of the PASS South Super Late Model schedule.

Barre, VT – Thunder Road officials announced today that they have signed a multi-year agreement with Maplewood Convenience Stores and Irving Oil to become the entitlement sponsors of the Thunder Road Late Model division. The agreement runs through the 2020 season and includes full naming rights to the track’s top auto racing class.
The Maplewood/Irving Late Models have been the lead division at Thunder Road since 1992 when the division was created. They were known at the time as the Late Model Sportsmen. The division competes under American-Canadian Tour (ACT) Late Model rules.
